I am travelling by bus from Bangkok through Cambodia to Vietnam. Does a VOA Visa also work at border checkpoints the same as airport immigration?

Vietnam visa on arrival is applied to those travelling to Vietnam by Air ONLY. And it works at any of three international airport in Vietnam which are Hanoi, Ho Chi minh and Da nang.
In case you enter Vietnam by bus, we suggest you contact the nearest Vietnam embassy to apply for your Vietnam visa.
