I’m flying from the UK to Hanoi. However, my flight has a transfer in Ho Chi Minh City. So I fly from the UK to Ho Chi Minh, change plane, then fly to Hanoi a couple of hours later. On the visa application do I enter my arrival airport as Hanoi, or Ho Chi Minh?

Be kindly informed that visa on arrival is applicable at three international airports in Vietnam: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Danang. Thus, you can arrive and get a visa stamped in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh or Danang as well.
